Years with DAC:
Newly joined! July 2008

I am joining the DAC after completing my fellowship in rheumatology at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.  I enjoy seeing patients with all rheumatic diseases with a particular interest in rheumatoid arthritis and other types of inflammatory disease.

I feel it is important to have good communication with my patients and their primary care provider for the best comprehensive care possible.  I try to educate patients about their diagnosis and treatment options.  I think it is important to work together with patients to structure the best treatment plan for each individual based on their disease and preferences.

Additionally, I enjoy working with the next generation of medical students and physicians-in-training to teach them about the field of rheumatology.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy golfing, biking, and traveling.  I am an avid sports fan as well.
