Arthritic and autoimmune conditions are serious medical problems which require careful monitoring and management to maintain a good quality of life and to minimize the chance of disability. Whenever possible, I use the most current medical studies to guide the management of the patient’s condition. However, I also feel that it is critical to understand the patient’s perspective on their problem and seek their input when developing the treatment plan. I believe that this team oriented approach makes it possible to achieve the best possible outcome for the patient.
In addition to the DAC, I am an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Colorado-Denver where I enjoy educating the next generation of Rheumatologists.
I am married and have two children. My outside interests including spending time with my family, training and competing in triathlons, and snowboarding.
