I joined the DAC in 2010 after five years at a rheumatology practice in Englewood, Colorado. I have found working in Colorado very fulfilling and enjoy seeing patients with all types of rheumatologic disorders.

Having seen medicine practiced in different parts of the world, I firmly believe that the foundation to good care begins with listening and caring, this is especially important in rheumatology were the conditions can be complex and long lasting. Working closely with the primary care doctor and others involved in the care of a patient is very essential.

Recent advances in rheumatology have made previously devastating illnesses almost curable. I strive to develop a good line of communication with patients so we can utilize the best therapy that is appropriate for each given person.

In my spare time I enjoy exploring the beautiful outdoors of Colorado. I have become an avid snowboarder and mountain biker. I love to travel, taking time to visit family around the world, and when possible seek out excellent scuba diving locations.
