Prior to joining Denver Arthritis Clinic, I was an assistant professor at the University of Colorado-Denver for six years pursuing laboratory research in the basic science of rheumatoid arthritis and other autoimmune disorders. I've contributed to more than 30 publications, including original research articles, book chapters, editorials, book reviews and abstracts. I remain affiliated with the University of Colorado-Denver as a professor of medicine.
I am married and have two teenagers. My interests include bicycling, back-country skiing, reading fiction and music.
