I am proud to be a physician at the DAC, a practice whose legacy dates back to 1976 with Herb Kaplan, MD, and Walter Briney, MD—two of the earliest rheumatologists in the Denver area. Dr. Briney was one of my earliest mentors, and both he and Dr. Kaplan exemplified the grace, empathy, and unmatched dedication that continue to define the DAC. I had the privilege of attending with Dr. Briney at Denver Health, where together we upheld the same commitment to compassionate, meaningful care for patients with rheumatic diseases.

At the DAC, I am fortunate to work alongside a caring, highly skilled team devoted to our patients. I am deeply grateful for each member of our staff; your dedication, compassion, and professionalism form the foundation of the exceptional care we provide every day.

I chose Rheumatology because it is a field rooted in innovation, continual discovery, and genuine hope for patients. I value the opportunity to care for individuals throughout their lifetimes, as many rheumatic conditions are chronic and begin in early adulthood. It is both a joy and an honor to build long-term relationships and to know my patients as people.

Today, as a physician in private practice at DAC, I remain deeply committed to delivering the highest standard of individualized, evidence-based care. I take the time to listen, understand, and thoughtfully tailor each treatment plan to the unique needs of the individuals I serve, ensuring that their health and well-being guide every decision.
